Overnight or Multi-day/weekend retreats: $50 fee. Day Retreat: $20. Fees may be applied to future retreats. The fees may be waived in event of extenuating circumstances. Contact Kateri at 925-837-9141 x315.

About the Event

As you think about your retirement years and move into this next chapter of your life, this retreat will explore the benefits and joys as well as the challenges and concerns ahead. How do we live this stage of our life well and see aging as a blessing? The combination of retirement and growing older provides an opportunity to live life differently and more contemplatively, moving from “doing” to “be—ing.” Discover how we can share our Spirit—given gifts, talents, and experience in new and give continued meaning and purpose to our lives.

***We have been carefully watching this developments of COVID-19 regulations by county, state, and federal entities and trying to anticipate their impact on our retreats. Please keep in mind, when booking, our Onsite Retreats may be postponed or changed to a Zoom Online Retreats due to updated regulations. Registration begins at 2:00 pm – 6:00 pm.
7:00 pm – Dinner.
8:00 pm – First Session on Friday evening.

8:00 am Breakfast Saturday morning, and follow with first session around 9:00 am or 9:30 am, lunch at 12pm, and end Saturday with Mass at 5:00 pm and departure after Mass.

Jim Briggs

Jim Briggs is retired Executive Director of the School of Applied Theology and former Executive Assistant to the President and Vice President of Student Services at Santa Clara University. Prior to his five years at SAT and his 22 years at SCU, Jim was Director of Career Planning and Placement at the University of California Berkeley and Georgetown University. He has a background in theology, career development, and higher education.
