San Damiano Retreat has one of the best religious gift shops in the Diocese of Oakland and beyond. Our books, cards, and religious articles have helped nurture the lives and faith of our visitors and retreatants for decades. We are now the only Catholic gift shop in the Tri-Valley and are proud to serve this area. Please tell your friends!
In recent months, the lobby and gift shop area has been remodeled. We hope you enjoy the openness and spaciousness of this new look. We carry books and DVDs on the saints and Franciscan history, and books that reflect the current spirituality and theology of the Church. CDs include Taize, quiet and reflective music. Our updated inventory includes interfaith items, books on women of faith, and more gifts and books in the Spanish language. If we don’t have what you are looking for, we can do special orders.
Gift Shop Hours:
8:30 AM to 4:30 PM Monday through Saturday and 8:30 AM to 2:30 PM Sunday. We close daily for lunch from 11:45 AM to 12:30 PM. Phone: 925-837-9141.
